Last night I loaded up my guitar and notes, got in my car and started driving. For some reason I didn't find myself winding up at guitar lessons... I found myself instead sitting on the beach watching the sunset. That sounds so cliche.. but whatever. Sitting there, I realized this was the first time since I've been here that I have sat on the beach and watched a sunset. I can tell you right now, there is nothing in the world like a southern california sunset.

So there's this amazing place here called The Yellow Deli, it is the most fantastic thing I have ever discovered. It is this beautiful two-story restaurant built and run by hasidic jews. It is open 24/5 (closed on their sabbath). They have a lounge upstairs where all the college kids study all night.. I like to go there and take a notebook and pretend I am doing homework. Man I miss school. Not really school, but the social aspect I guess. Anyway, it is literally the most amazing place ever. There's a guy who works there named Hakinai (Haw-keen-eye) who is super friendly and talks to everyone. I didn't leave that place until 11 last night because we were talking.

On another note, I was serious before when I said it... I hate infants. I am sorry but I do.

Happy Birthday to me!

I am now 20! I guess it's a new decade and a good chance for changes and new things. I have some new goals and some things that I would like to leave in my teens.
This has been an interesting birthday, not my typical celebration.. but it's been fun. I can't complain.
We drove to Cleveland, OH.. pretty random, I know. It's just a typical city I guess. We went to the house where A Christmas Story was filmed, so that was cool. We also went to the zoo but got there right as it was closing, lame.
My sister in law and I went and saw Something Borrowed. It was precious, but it was one of those movies that makes you want love. I am such a hopeless romantic.


The Fam got me a kindle!!! I was so excited. I will get a lot of use out of it.

My present from my parents was a trip to Erie to see my brother and his cute family. I am having fun with them and I am so happy that I got to see them. I may not be living it up in Italy like this cool girl. But I am having a lovely time in this cute town with these adorable babies.

I feel like it's been a minute.
Hmmm.... what's new?

- My parents and bro came to visit this past weekend, it was a lot of fun. We went to SeaWorld and pretty much all over San Diego. SeaWorld was nice to see once, but to be honest I don't get why people travel from all over to go there again and again. It wasn't that cool.
 For those of you nerds like me who watch the travel channel and have seen Man vs. Food... you will appreciate this. We went to Lucha Libre, a little taco shop that was on Man vs. Food and we sat in the Champion's Booth. It is a gold booth in the corner that is roped off and reservations are required for it. It is also the only table in the place that is waited on. All the other people just go get their own food and wait in line forever. It was nice but everyone, and I mean everyone was staring. Oh, we also got to ring a bell when we needed something... that added to the staring.

It was nice to have the fam in town to go around and do a bunch of fun things with. I will post pics soon, mom i need them from you!

-I go to Pennsylvania tomorrow to see my bro and his family!! i can't wait :) I have missed those babies.

Let's See.

I had my first guitar class tonight, it was fun! The class started a week ago and I signed up late so I was the new student today. I walked in and literally felt ridiculous.. everyone else knew how to tune their guitars and knew some notes already. The teacher laughed at me. It was fun though!

So the other day, T and I were at the park and we had so much fun! I took some cute pictures... sorry I know the pictures of me with this little one are probably getting old. Whatevah. I don't care.

I've been having so much fun with her lately, today we went to a park that had water fountains and played in the water for a while. Then on the drive home we rode with the windows down, sun shining, and dancing to "Say Hey" by Michael Franti. It was one of those moments that makes me happy to be alive.
        Unlike the moments that make me hate life.... i.e- when H bomb wont stop crying. We call it "Hanninating"


Hokay so here's my trashy TV update.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE VOICE. It is so good... mostly because Adam Levine is my dream man. yummy. Also- has anyone else ever noticed how ridiculously nice Cee-Lo's teeth are?

I am stoked for Ashley Hebert to be the new Bachelorette! She really grew on me during Brad's season of The Bachelor. She seemed to be the only one who was real.. Stupid TV people, this is how they get you to keep watching their ridiculous show. By putting your favorites as the new Bachelor/ette. I love her, so I will be watching it.

Lastly- My trip to Florida was ruined by some slutty 15 year old. Yes, a slutty 15 year old. 

So I am now going to Erie, PA to see Jason, Nicole and the babies. Although it's not Disney World, I get to see my niece and nephew, so that will be exciting.
